[Plano, Texas – March 12, 2024] TGR Creative is excited to announce its ongoing partnership with the Naveen Jindal School of Management (JSOM) at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) to provide valuable hands-on marketing experience for students. For the past two semesters, TGR and JSOM have collaborated to offer internship opportunities to 10 undergraduate students each semester, allowing them to work on TGR’s clients/brands and gain real-world agency marketing experience.
During the first semester in Fall 2023, the student interns had the opportunity to work on Truman Factory (thetrumanfactory.com), known as the Official Candy of Gaming. They were tasked with creating a comprehensive marketing strategy to position the candy product within the gaming space. The interns worked diligently to develop innovative marketing initiatives and conducted research to identify strategic opportunities for the brand in the gaming industry. In their inaugural capstone awards, the student marketing interns won 1st Place out of all of the Marketing Capstone Projects in JSOM for Fall 2023.
In the second semester, Spring 2024, the focus shifted to #DFWCreators (dfwcreators.net), a brand aimed at connecting content creators, creatives, and young professionals in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The interns split into two teams, with half focusing on creating brand partnership strategies and marketing materials to enhance the brand’s visibility and attract local companies for partnerships. The other half of the interns concentrated on marketing strategy, content creation, and community engagement, playing a vital role in growing and fostering the #DFWCreators community.
