TGR Creative Partners with UTD Naveen Jindal School of Management for Innovative Marketing Collaboration

[Dallas, January 15, 2024] – TGR Creative, the dynamic and innovative creative agency specializing in connecting brands with the Gen Z audience, is proud to announce its successful partnership with the Undergraduate Marketing Capstone Program at the Naveen Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). Through this collaborative effort, ten senior students served as project marketing interns, working closely with TGR Creative to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy for their client, The Truman Factory (the Official Candy of Gaming™️).

The Truman Factory project proved to be a dynamic and enriching experience for both the student marketing interns and TGR Creative. Together, they worked tirelessly to create a holistic marketing strategy aimed at better marketing the brand to the larger gaming audience. The student teams conducted extensive surveys among consumers to gather valuable insights, performed in-depth competitive research comparing The Truman Factory to brands such as Feastables and Reese’s, and developed innovative marketing initiatives and gaming activations.

Eric Aaberg, Head of Social Strategy & Marketing at TGR Creative, shared his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “Working with the talented students from UTD’s Marketing Capstone Program has been a remarkable experience. Their fresh perspectives and energy have significantly contributed to our collaborative project with The Truman Factory. We’re proud to have played a role in their growth and development as future marketing professionals.”

One of the project’s highlights was the student marketing team’s outstanding performance, earning them 1st place among all the marketing capstone projects. Their exceptional work and commitment to delivering results further solidified the success of this partnership.

Rita Egeland, professor of the marketing course and former Chief Marketing Officer of 7-Eleven, expressed her excitement about the collaboration, especially as she had the opportunity to mentor Eric Aaberg as a senior student in May 2023. She said, “It’s been a pleasure to see Eric and his agency partner with our program. The students have thrived under TGR Creative’s mentorship, and this partnership exemplifies the real-world experience we strive to provide.”

TGR Creative looks forward to future collaborations with educational institutions and remains committed to nurturing emerging talent in the marketing and creative industry.
